This January the children have enjoyed learning about numbers and quantities, working on one of the Prime Areas of Learning, Mathematics. Children from all age groups are able to use a range of resources to explore maths. They have been counting objects, stacking them to make 'bigger' towers and have even been looking at the numbers themselves. Who said Maths was boring...
In February the children got creative, exploring their physical abilities whilst using mark making materials and scissors. The children were able to increase their Physical Development working on another Prime Area of Learning, in a fun way engaging children's interests from home
March has been very exciting, giving the children a chance to be imaginative and dress up as their favourite fictional characters to celebrate World Book Day. The children were able to express who they were and show some of their characters personality. This has given the children a chance to show off how they have gained confidence in their Personal, Social and Emotional Development which is also a Prime Area of Learning.
